On Bank Holiday Monday, Woodhay played Aldermaston Rugby CC in the Final of the Cyril Thompson Trophy at the historic May's Bounty, home of Basingstoke & North Hants CC.
Batting first Woodhay scored 182-5 from their 20 overs, led by 86 from Ben Hummel and 33* from Skipper, Joe Lawrance.
A fine bowling and fielding display meant that Aldermaston were never realistically in the hunt and they finished 129-7 as Woodhay added a 3rd title to their haul of silverware this year
