East Woodhay Cricket Club is a very friendly village-based club. We play cricket at our beautiful ground in the village of East End, near Newbury. The ground was voted 'Ground Of The Year' for the whole of Hampshire in 2014 and 2017.
We have 2 league teams on a Saturday who compete in Hampshire County Division 2 and Hampshire Regional 1 (North East) respectively.
We also run a Sunday team which play in a range of competitive and prestigious friendly matches against local and touring sides.
On a Wednesday evening the Woodhay Spartans play in Division 1 of the Downs Cricket League.
Our junior section is currently thriving and we have teams in the Berkshire U9, U11, U13 and U15 leagues. We have almost 20 juniors currently training with the County and District squads in Berkshire and Hampshire.
