Match report The U13's powered into the Berkshire Cup semi final with a great 10 wicket win at West Ilsely. Finally the sun shone and after 3 failed attempts to play the match the boys ensured there was no last run drama witnessed in the previous round. A confident West Ilsley skipper had no hesitation in batting on winning the toss, but must have rued his decision as he found himself at the crease in only the 2nd over after Tom Clipston bowled the opening bat. Thomas Hughes was not to be left out and bowling with considerable pace accuracy and swing he accounted for the other opening bat and West Ilsley were 6 -2. There was a brief West Ilsley rally as they moved to 22 with a few boundaries from the skipper but Joseph Sheridan was just too accurate and struck 2 quick blows to reduce West Ilsley to 33-4. From there on in, it was one way traffic. Toby Saich bowled a wicket maiden to make it 33-5 and that was followed up by a triple wicket maiden from Sebastian who including the scalp of the West Ilsely skipper with a very smartly taken caught and bowled. Not to be outdone Jack "Burmrah" Robbins joined in taking 2 wickets for only one run in his single over, West Ilsely all out for 37.

In response Sebastian and Charlie ensured there were no wobbles making short work of the total required in just 4 overs. Reading CC await us in the semi finals.
